LS Bryce Haynes (Official Thread)

Whoever is taking the snap on PATs and field goals.. had better be paying serious attention.. because that ball gets back there in a HURRY...

This kid's gonna play on Sundays... that video is beyond impressive

Awesome video, that is one thing we tOSU fans will not have to worry about for the next 4 years. Great get at a position you only notice when things go wrong. Since the punt is the most important play in Football, it is great to get an elite Long Snapper. The kid will look great in S&G.

Note lack of sarcasm font :wink2:

Bryce has proven to me he is the best long snapper in the country right now. Extremely long and athletic. Ball absolutely flies into your hands. TIGHT spiral and he can block. Also very athletic. The kid has it all. Easily can put on thirty pounds. The kid is legit. No doubt.

Flat out the best in the country. In the top five I have had coming out of high school in the past decade. Simple and to the point. 12-10

OFFER NOW!!!

If you were wondering how a LS could get an offer, this bit on the o-zone validates what many have been speculating. I especially like the first line about the possibility of the video being fake.

LS Bryce Haynes (6-4, 185, Cumming, Ga.)
* Doc Tressel said they weren't actively seeking long-snapper, but when they got the video they thought it had to be fake.
* Tressel said the video spread like wildfire once it got to Ohio State. They saw him in person and realized they needed to find a spot for him in the class.
* Doc said the snap hits right in the numbers every time.
* Doc Tressel said that Haynes is already 0.2 seconds faster on his snaps than what Ohio State tells its long snappers to aim for.
* Doc said Haynes will put pressure on the current long snappers on the roster.
