Louisville 25, RUTGERS 28 (Final)

The made a good point in the studio before the game. If this is too big a blowout, it could hurt Louisville. It would destroy whatever credibility the league has built up over the past year by exposing Rutgers (and West Virginia) as the cupcakes that the critics say they are.

Lousville will get dominated in the trenches against OSU. There are a ton of UL rushing plays which stat with 2+ rutger defenders 4-5 yards deep before the handoff.

Brohm seems a bit off today as well.

The UL run D is still looking pretty suspect.

On that screen play by rutgers, the RUTG player caught the ball 7-10 yards down field, and ran about 30 before any louisville players were even close to him. It's hard to be outside of the pocket for that long.

Rutgers has given up an INT, and their defense has not been as stellar as hyped. But, the real let-down for them is their special teams, which have found new ways to self-destruct in critical situations.

Ball was clearly tipped on that roughing the kicker.....don't know how Folwer and Herbstreit missed that up in the booth....normally a ball doesn't change trajection and lose rotation off the foot.....also don't know why we didn't get more looks on replay

Completely agree. I can't believe they didn't look at any other angles when Rutgers used a timeout. The floating camera above the field might have shown a deflection.

I'm kicking myself for not putting a bunch of vCash on the 'ville.
