Lost a Bet to a Cane...

Well, I had to send $50 via PayPal to everyone's favorite Grassy poster...Bomb. In a moment of frustration a 2 years ago, I bet him that Willie Williams would not make it 2 years without getting in some form of legal trouble. Tonight's game was the two year mark...

Everyone knows the WW story...but I am glad I lost this bet. From everything I've read, the kid has turned his life around. That is never a bad thing.

Then again, how bad will it suck if he was involved in the tunnel fight afterwards? I would have lost the bet by about 5 minutes

gotta admit.. just by looking at the thread title... I was thinking... did 10,000 posts make grad demented... just what was he thinking when he gave up Miami and 40... which was the only losing cane bet I could imagine...

and if Wilson was involved in the tunnel... you should use the ol.. "we never said what time zone for the two year end" .. you deserve a 5 minute grace period on a two year time frame... even profs get 20 minutes leeway...

This kid will be an absolute monster at the next level. He will not just have a future, he will probably be a first rounder and have a solid career, IMO.

How was it 2 years, since his recruiting trip to Gainesville, which included 'legal trouble', was on Jan. 30, 2004? That's only 23 months.
