Look at what happens for OSU after a loss to a school from South Carolina in a Bowl game

1978 Gator Bowl: Loss to Clemson, Woody fired, Earle hired, OSU plays for NC in 1979
2000 Outback Bowl: Loss to South Carolina, Cooper fired and Jim Tressel is hired
2001 Outback Bowl: Loss to South Carolina, OSU goes 14-0 wins NC in 2002.
2013 Orange Bowl: Loss to Clemson, defensive coach fired, Ash hired to work with Fickell, OSU wins 2014 NC

That's amazing.

Am I missing any other games against Palmetto state teams?

This is pretty nuts. Now I'm undecided how I feel about getting an SC team in a bowl game. I suppose if it leads to us winning a NC every other year, I'm fine with it.

We got Jim Tressel and a NC out of the deal, they got a fucking bloomin onion and after they ate it, they were still South Carolina.

If Ryan Brewer and Outbacks Bowls are the high water mark of your program......jesus.

Every time my wife and I move, Ohio State wins the national championship. How 'bout y'all just chip in to buy us a new house and we won't have to suffer through another loss to a South Carolina team to get what we want.
