Los Angeles Clippers (official thread)

On top of that splattering of Perkins, Griffin rolled correctly out of his screen, opening up to the passer. Sound fundamentals and lifetaking athleticism are a fucking COMBO.

I thought the "lob city" thing was going to be mostly hype when CP3 joined the Clippers. But damn they are proving me wrong. The Clippers are probably the only reason I want to watch the NBA.

Obviously you haven't seen the likes of Derrick Rose, Kevin Durant, and as much as I hate to say it LeBron James tearing it up. Gotta be honest, this year may be one of the deepest Playoffs ever.

I wondered where he would wind up. I love watching him play ball. His days of being a regular game changer may be over, but you will still see glimpses that will make you go whoa. He can still be an effective shut down defender when his heart is in it.

I think it was a good pick up for the Clippers. Kenyon is a really good defender and playing with a point guard like Chris Paul makes everyone better. I know Martin had more success offensively in NJ with Jason Kidd than he did in Denver.

The Clips win game seven for the first time in franchise history, 82-72. Kenyon Martin was huge today - a double double - so much so that Blake Griffin spent the 4th quarter on the bench in Memphis.

Their reward? The well rested Spurs.
