Looooong Day ahead of me...

Honestly I'm seriously just about to quit and go find another job...this job I have now pays shit. 5.50 an hour! I only know like 2 people now bc everyone else has left because the place is hell.

dude even for a college guy, that is pretty bad. i know you can go to like circuit city and make 7.25 an hour at the least, around where i live. And then it goes up to like 8.75 if you work in the section with the TV's, or in the auto section.

5.50 is like what 14 year olds get paid to sit in a lifeguard stand and talk with their friends by the pool.

My mom works at Giant Eagle as a Cashier. Makes $8.10 an hour(Just started, that is standard starting pay there). She found out that starting pay for stock boys is $13.45 an hour. I'm getting a job at Giant Eagle.

At this moment I want a job. I don't get an allowance, so I don't have money. I'm not wanting to make this a perm. job. But $13.00 an hour for a teen is pretty damn good for me.
I would recommend a job that gets you meeting the type of people you would like to know 5 years down the road. Take me for instance: I worked at the New Albany Country Club golf course for a measly 7.50 hr starting, and of course made more when I went into management there. I got my first "Real" job at Rolls-Royce Energy Systems and you guessed it, one of the members there is the current president. This method can pay dividends young man. Don't worry about your pay rate right now and focus on school.

TG05 - Oh, by all means, go for it, unless you can find something better. But eyes on the prize, bud... eyes on the prize.

GD01 - Hey, I'm the wrong person to ask logical questions like that one. I think I mentioned the time I accidently sent one offer to another place I'd applied? Oh, wait -that actually worked. :p

I'm looking for a job in Sports Management, more specifically in Football operations. Not many jobs that I can do at this age that involve/detail that. As me being injured this year I was the team manager for the football team. And I really enjoyed doing that. Not as much as playing, but I enjoyed being involved with the team. Seeing how I most likely won't play football in college or make a career out of it, I want to go into a football operations career.
