Looking to buy a bike

Hating the environment since 1994
    • My wife rode on RAGBRAI this summer and didn't know if there are any other bikers on here.

    I rode with her the other night and enjoyed it and am looking into purchasing a road bike.

    Looking at buying a Giant or a Trek.

    Any recommendations from experienced bikers on here would be appreciated.

    You can't go wrong with either brand.
    The more important thing is to get a bike fit to you.
    Some shops will charge for this service and it's well worth it!
    If your comfortable on the bike your mileage will go up and you'll be safer.
    You might try spd style pedals for more efficiency.

    The place I'm looking at getting it does a free fitting and free lifetime repairs.

    Pretty good deal to.

    Will probably go with a Giant. That's what my wife bought.
