Looking ahead to the 2013-2014 Season

was just talking to a freind of the Familly who is a Buckeye Basketball legend, and he brought up to me if the NBA goes to a 2 and Done or 3 and done, that Matta's 2013-2014 team would have the most talented (potential wise) in the Nation (unless UK keeps all their stars which isnt likley) and would be the greatest in Buckeye history by a long shot

he told me you would have a Sr PG Aaron Craft, whom if he developed his 3pt shot and was a more consistant scorer would be the best PG in the nation, then you have LaQuinton Ross at 2G who could be the next Durant with more experiance, then you would have Marc Loving comming in who could be a top 10-15 nationally ranked recruit comming in who can score like its nobodys buisness, plus Tony Parker (who he has heard is as close to a Buckeye lock as it gets) and a Developed and Experianced Amir Williams

PG-Craft-Thinks craft would be a 15 Pt, 12 assist guy in this lineup
2G-Ross-Thinks Ross would be a 20-23 PPG scorer
SF-Loving-Thinks Loving would be a 14 Pt, 8 Rebound, 4 Assist guy
PF-Parker-thinks Parker would be a 18-20 Pt 10-12 Rebound guy
C-Williams-Thinks Williams would be a 12 Pt, 12 Rebound, 3-5 Block guy

plus on the Bench you have a devleoped 6th man Sam Thompson, as well as a D Stonewall Lenzelle Smith, a very quality backup PG in Shannon Scott with a few years under his belt, and a very legit potential 3 point threat in Jordan Sibert, they would need another big for Depth reasons but in his mind, if this is the roster, he claims its better then any in Ohio St history and may never be matched and would easilly predict a 40-0 season

I'm optimistic about how good OSU can be in 2013-14 with all that experience and talent, but all the predicted stats seem out of whack. Go with 65-70% of those numbers and he might be close to accurate.

No crap. He has us averaging 81 points per game, on the low side. That would be awesome to watch but I'm not as optimistic. 71 points per game with the way Matta loves defense probably leads to a BiG and National Championship.
