Look Who's Transferring Now (The Portal)

Kind of eye opening to listen to. College football has changed so much with NIL

I continue to feel like OSU is leaving a ton of $$$ on the table. I’d personally cinteubute a few bucks here and there if they gave solid direction on where to send it and give confidence it’s not just going to end up in some executives pocket.

It doesn’t have to be “our” billionaire vs “their” billionaire.

We need to leverage our fanbase far better.

The very last thing that 99.99% of the fanbase should be doing is donating money to any collective for perfectly healthy 18-20 year old D1 athletes with the world in front of them.

I disagree but understand why people say that.

I don’t think we’re nearly athletic enough at the position personally. Pierce struggled a lot against Michigan and didn’t show a lot in coverage.
If JL can find a starting duo from the combination of: Pierce, Pettijohn and Allegiero, then the odd man out rotates with Alford. That’s enough. And if there are injuries, Lee and 1 of the frosh can play. Im not sure if Stover can play at this level

They(OSU) need to do a better job of the marketing of this. People feel like their $10 doesn't matter.

Be clear on how much you need it, where we are at in the process and how it's being spent...just give clarity. You want the money, work for it. Engage the fanbase. Nobody donates anything into the abyss. I was only half kidding when I said they should make a crypto coin.

We could erase the federal deficit a few bucks at a time from each person in America too. What's the first thing you think of that? "They'll just waste it/my money doesn't matter" type of thing.

That $10 does matter - to your gas tank, your phone bill, your grocery budget, etc etc.

I'll say this again, 99% of the Buckeye fanbase has zero business contributing money to any NIL collective.

Let businesses & wealthy donors handle that.

Exactly. No fucking way am I ever donating money to some entitled kid so he can be a millionaire in college to play a game. Let the 1% figure it out

I’ll put that $10 and whatever other money that folks would donate into my Grandkids college fund.

I used to go to a game ever year and do all the game stuff. Anymore that 3 day weekend cost a small fortune that I have better ways to spend.

For me the game is broken now and not really about guys being Buckeyes or Hoosiers or whoever you root for.
