I think whomever comes in as the WR coach needs to have a fast and serious assessment of a ton of young, talented WRs. OSU loses Tate and Rodgers(so far), but also gain CHjr, Guilford(poss. RS), Boyd(poss. RS) and Ricketts(obv. RS) to go with Graham, Porter, Witten, Jones and Bell. They need 3-4 of those guys ready to play big minutes next year. Smith and Inniss are the only returning starters.Yeah with one portal entry now it’s going to be wild. Better get honest answers right now from your guys because this is it.
What does everyone else think we need?
I’d imagine DT, S, and WR
For me I think we have a shot to leave no doubt with our offense next year. If we land a top notch WR we can get thereI think whomever comes in as the WR coach needs to have a fast and serious assessment of a ton of young, talented WRs. So IMO, the major needs in the Portal would be DT, DE and versatile OL. I like the youth at the rest of the positions. But there are too many questions on the DL on who will return and who will step up. Getting a solid depth piece at OL or even a stud would be hard to pass up as well, especially if he can spell outside and inside guys.

They are going to put the full court press on Ryan Williams. Insiders be damned.I think whomever comes in as the WR coach needs to have a fast and serious assessment of a ton of young, talented WRs. I like the sparty receiver if they're looking for a transfer. And they might have no choice but to go shopping, if more tOSU receivers enter the portal.Ryan Williams just hasn't been impressive this year.
I get staying put at WR as well. But with all the OL likely back, JJ back, Julian back, Innis likely back, Klare likely back, and both RBs back we have a shot to be generational good like LSU in 2019. Biggest question mark for offense is who steps up opposite JJ. If someone is out there in the portal that’s better than the guys we have I think you go get a kid like that.WR is the last place I would be looking for a transfer. They have built this group by bringing in studs and developing them.
We have Henry this year and Brown next. Porter and Graham are waiting to show what they can do. Looking for a starter in the portal sends the wrong message.
