Look Who's Transferring Now (The Portal)

Can't disagree with the above. However, once you 'give' someone something, then it becomes the expectation. (learned that from the non-profit worked for after primary career). So the NCAA takes away one of the portal periods, and there'll be a lawsuit, sure as sh**, saying that NCAA is limiting the opportunities for the players. Hard to argue with. This is working out just like some of the laws. Here's the law....on by the way, we're still working on how to implement it....but use this until we make our minds up. Saw it all the time from Sacramento, and moreso now from Washington (ie border laws).

Same, Pate made it seem like half of CFB was entering the Portal, yet it seems more tame than the winter Portal window. So far...
Makes one wonder if maybe a lot of kids planned to transfer and maybe even told a YouTuber that in confidence, but now that they’re actually trying to make it happen, they’re finding that the logistical (part of which is academics) side of transferring is complicated this time of year.

…the logistical part that isn’t academics is that they’ll have a very limited time to learn a new system if they leave now. Might not seem so bad when they’re thinking about it in February, but now that it’s time to make a decision they are faced with the reality that in 4 months they’ll be competing for a job in a system they know nothing about
