Look Who's Transferring Now (The Portal)

Gee Scott not panning out or just needed depth?

Gee Scott won’t give us end of line blocking they’re looking for. He’d be more of an offensive weapon in pass game. I’ve been told they’re looking for what Mitch Rossi essentially is, but more talented.

There’s a TE that committed to BC today that I think OSU was in communication with…..BC actually features their TE’s though, so it makes sense.

I think Lincoln Riley ultimately will surpass Carroll. He was a home-run hire on par with Urban Meyer.
Are we talking about the same Pete Carroll? Carroll was willing to play any team anywhere, and Riley just bolted from a team going to the SEC, for an easier path to the CFP. If Riley doesn’t get multiple NCs, then he doesn’t come close to Carroll and the dynasty he had. Riley couldn’t even dominate nationally at OU

Urban Meyer was as sure a thing as you can get. He won two NCs at UF. Riley still has a lot to prove , IMO. Riley dominated a pathetic conference giving him an easy path the the CFBP. His first year he played UGA pretty close, then got whooped by Bammer and annihilated by LSU.

He has the charisma and recruiting chops to do very well at USC, but time will tell if he's able to compete nationally with the big boys, because he really didn't at OU another blue blood program with an easy path to the playoff. Far from a sure thing.
