"His recruits" this year was a 14 player class with not a single player in the top 200 and only 1 in the top 300. Predictably the fake shine wore off very quickly there.

Yeah, he seemed to hit a real bump in his coaching road this season, i.e going 3-9, 1-8. I wonder if his medical issues contributed. Anyway a famous coach once said; "you are what your record says you are"; he is a 3-9 coach.

Yeah his golden geese flew the coup(Shedeur and Travis). This was to be expected by people who actually followed CFB. I think the big problem he had was that his biggest cheerleaders IRL didn’t have a clue about CFB, let alone sports. Deion thought that every year he could just hit the Portal and flip his entire team. That will never ever work. You don’t even get to know how a kid fits in your system, will he go to class, will he be a cancer to the locker room, etc

Not only that, but we've seen the past few years that the team that's been (mostly) together the longest has been the team to beat.
