This is why you don’t give a 5 star true freshman 3 million a year. No one is a lock and I don’t care what the hype but unless they’re a sure bet (JJ Smith) you don’t spend that kind of money on a high school senior.
I’ve lost all interest in recruiting for this reason. We aren’t going to recklessly spend money because of a kids ranking and I love that.
We have a great approach going where we are still going to get some great kids but we are going to more so spend money in the portal if we have to.
