Look Who's Transferring Now (The Portal)

Per 11w poster:
According to PFF (Pro Football Focus), Robinson has the highest pass-blocking grade in the country among offensive tackles (92.8) in 278 pass-blocking snaps. Robinson played a total of 539 snaps and finished as Georgia Tech's 12th-highest-graded offensive player on PFF, finishing with a 69.9 overall grade (92.8 pass blocking and 59.6 run blocking). Robinson has one more year of eligibility.

Honestly that’s all we need for next year.

I have to admit and this won’t be popular but we should get the best QB too. I know many believe in Sayin but can you really go into next year with no experience?
I’m not in favor of bringing in a transfer QB next year. I think it sets a bad precedent with the QBs we’ve recruited recently.

Time for one of the highly rated recruits to step in and take the reins and time for Day to remind us why he’s considered to be a QB guru.

Let’s be honest, if Sayin were to win the starting job next season I have time seeing Brown, Kienholz and Noland staying. 2 or all transfer if Sayin wins the position, imo. Get a transfer QB to battle/push Sayin and be honest with him possibly never seeing the field

Do I think Sayin will win, absolutely. Am I ruling out that one of the other guys can push him, like Brown, no.

Do I recall correctly that there’s only one transfer portal period now? If this is it, then the others would have to decide they’re out before Spring ball, correct?

Edit: Found that there’s still a Spring Portal in 25 at the end of April, so that risk is there for sure @pnuts34. Buckeyes could also pick someone up then too.

I wish I had the confidence we would seriously address the obvious holes on the team but alas given your portal efforts (Saban retiring excluded) I don’t think we’ll end up with any of what we consider to be the top guys.
