Look Who's Transferring Now (The Basketball Portal)

FAU's star big man Vlad Goldin, who averaged 15 & 7 last season, is in the portal. Key piece to the Final Four run in '23. Dusty May does need a big man. Somehow I doubt he'll be the only FAU star in the portal.

Bronny James is [edit: reported to be entering] the portal. I would assume he will be mentioned with OSU, perhaps just as a courtesy, but I don't see him coming here unless one of OSU's starting guards somehow is out the door soon.

As a side note, not sure if USC is gonna be able to field a team for their first year in rhe B1G. As of today, they don't have a coach, and most of the guys who were on their team this season are gone.

Wisconsin star AJ Storr is rumored to be asking for $1 million to transfer. Supposedly Kansas offered $750K take it or leave it, and he left it. KU is rumored to have paid $2 million for Hunter Dickinson this past season.

One thing about Bronny that shouldn't be overlooked is the OSU lawyers/doctors. These folks to me are very hesitant to open OSU to liability to letting guys who have had medical problems play, and I think they might step in and block him from playing. I think someone(s) at OSU that's been in charge of things of this nature is scared shitless by health problems & possible lawsuits. We've seen it with Jamel Dean where OSU reportedly didn't clear a guy for medical reasons (turns out he was perfectly fine & is playing in the NFL). I can just see the OSU leadership nervous nellies taking one look at Bronny's health history, realizing the bad publicity & lawsuits that could come from LeBron's son being harmed by playing for OSU, and saying "no way" to him playing for the Buckeyes. So even if there is interest on OSU's part, I'm skeptical that it would ever turn into him playing for the Buckeyes.
