Usain Bolt pauses a TV interview out of respect for a national anthem being played for another athlete's medal ceremony.

It was our anthem, for Sanya Richards-Ross's gold medal.

205 "flowers" each representing a country participating in the Olympics. At the end of the Olympics, they will send the "flower" to each participating country's Olympic committee.

I definitely felt bad for her after all the effort she had put in to get there. I had an erie feeling with the way the announcers were building her up prior to her vault and saying she was a gold medal lock that something bad might happen.

Well, it's like Trautwig said, there was no bigger favorite in any event of the Olympics in any sport, so this was one case where a silver medal was a complete disaster. She was [censored]ed, whatever.

One thing I noticed, and I don't know if anyone else did or not, but they showed the other US girls when she fell. Most were all like shocked, gasp, whatever, but Aly was like "Oh look, she fell" and then went back to reading her tablet. At least that's how it looked to me anyway. So I wonder if there was some friction there or something. Given how she acted to the Russian chick, I guess I would be surprised (and there's nothing wrong with it if there is, I just thought it was interesting).
