Army Recruit
Hey all,
My name is Lloyd. I'm going through the process now of joining the Army. I took my ASVAB last night and scored a 95 on the AFQT. I'm having a hard time picking a MOS. I still have to drop a couple inches in my waste before I can join but the progress is going faster than anticipated.

Having Trouble Finding a Job
So I have been researching joining the Army for months. Just a few weeks ago I took the plunge and called a recruiter up and we set up a meeting together.
Prior to this, 8 or 9 years ago I took the ASVAB when it still included the old sections and scored a 99 on the AFQT. So I was a little disappointed to see my 72 on the practice tests I was taking.
Well I went and took the test last night in Lansing at MEPS and scored a AFQT of 95.
Needless to say, according to my line scores there isn't any job (outside of Officer positions due to not having the bachelors degree) that I am not eligible due to scores to select.
My two high positions I thought I would enjoy were
Information Technology Specialist - 25B
Military Police - 31B
Although from when we just looked them up last night neither were bonus or college tuition eligible. While a bonus is not a factor in me joining the Army, it is important in finding a job that I like that will allow me to pay off my family's debts if I could get it (we don't owe much at all, but it's more than we want).
Other positions that were flagged during my interests survey were:
Interpretor/Translator - 09L
Intelligence Analyst - 35F
Human Intelligence Collector - 35M
Signals Intelligence Analyst - 35N
Cryptologic Linguist - 35P
Signals Collector/Analyst - 35S
While I am open to new jobs, I have worked in the Information Technology field for 7 years now.
Does anyone have any ideas about what jobs I might like looking into? My wife isn't to keen on the jobs that include the word intelligence as apparently there is the stigma that the job requires being deployed more than normal?
I'm just looking for some advice or ideas before I decide on a job in the Army, so I have all my ducks in a row before I go and finish my enlistment.
Thanks in advance

Leopard?
Dolphins can move too.....
I know a lot of folks would say Cheetah, but that one is too obvious and I do hate a cliche.
It's quite rhymable as well.Bucky Katt;1390787; said:A cheetah? Interesting. I never would have thought of that. That's a fun word to say. I should try to work it into some of my poetry sometime.
