Lloyd Carr video: last lockerroom speech

Say what you will about Lloyd, but the man is a class act. And I for one am proud to have had him as part of the greatest rivalry in sports. It's too bad DickRod isn't the same caliber of man.

Wow, Coach Carr shows actual emotion...

Honestly, I can't actually say a lot of bad things about Carr, other than he was Michigans coach. He didn't give a lot of bulletin board material, he punished his players when they got into trouble, overall, he represented the school and the conference well.

I agree... Dick Rod is going to be a huge change.

What a class act... I have the utmost respect for every single one of the Big Ten coaches. Lloyd Carr was the best thing that happened to Michigan since Bo. It will be sad to see him go, especially since RamRod is coming in... :(

Congrats Michigan on the win today and congrats to Llllllloyd on a great career.

Michigan just needs to convince him not to retire. I didn't really have a strong opinion of Carr before today, but after seeing the game and various interviews I have realized how good of a guy he is/was for his team, the conference, and college football as a whole. Best of luck to him and his family. It'll be a big change with Rodriguez there for many different reasons, unfortunately these changes do not seem to be positive.

Congrats on the victory UM, but I still hate you. :)

Well, I did hear the commentators of the game say something about Michigan offering him the Associate AD job, which would be great.

Agree... Carr was a classic Big10 coach caring about his players... to go along with what you said he also pushed the players to be the best they could be on the field and in the classroom. RichRod should aspire to be half the coach Carr was.

Yeah congrats Lloyd and UofM. Although I could never pull for the blue outwardly, I must admit, I got chills as that game wound down. And as much as I hate scUM, I feel like they represented the great subtle classiness of the Big10 as opposed to what just looked like a slooooppy football team in Florida (same goes for USC, great team, but just an air of arrogant classlessness).
