Live NFL 2006 Draft Coverage (official thread)

If anyone goes through the tons and tons of film that is available when evaluating a player, you will find errors that a player might make. EVERY player makes a mistake now and then. It's what happens after that mistake. On the three clips that they showed, A.J. still made the tackle on one (granted it was down field), got a hand in Robinson's face despite being blocked on his blitz, and the RB cut back on the other. General managers, coaches, scouts, and almost every media analyst has stated that A.J. is the best defensive player in the draft.

I don't think he disliked him per se, just thought he would have a good NFL career, but not Urlacher like......

Urlacher is a good "big athletic play" linebacker, but he is a tad overrated...though still a fine LB. I'd say Hawk will definitely be in his class, if not a little more complete of a player in a few years.
