From what I hear McCoy likes Miami, but

if Miami develops another running back next year, he'll go elsewhere. The kid wants to be the man from day one. Probably his top five will change throughout the year, don't be surprised if a team like Michigan State, comes out in his top five, probably around when the 05 season starts.

I've never heard of him as a Michigan lean...

But if it's true that'd be awesome. I've heard Miami will likely be the school to beat for McCoy with an early top 5 of Miami, Michigan, Michigan State, NC State, and FSU... that was a few months back though.

Update...

SCOUT

LeSean will take his time with a decision and the major factors will be offensive system, coaching staff and his position coach. As a junior LeSean ran for 2,828 yards and 33 touchdowns. He has between 25-30 offers.

RIVALS

From CanSport.com.........LeSean is looking at Miami and will go on a unofficial visit in the summer.

Miami has several top back interested in them...Javaris James, Shady McCoy, Stafon Johnson, Evan Royster, CJ Spiller, Knowshon Moreno, etc. I would imagine they sign at least two this year. They signed none last year, and of the four they signed two years ago, only two are still RBs on their roster.

44820, you beat me to that Rivals update...nice work. :wink2:

This is shaping up to be a battle between USC, Penn State and Miami. Pitt and Virginia are also in the hunt. Distance may play a factor, especially for USC. According to this article, LeSean ran a 4.25 at the Nike Camp at PSU.
