I suppose if he wins the starting job, it would be good for some laughs.

Purdue is laughably bad. I don't see any chance of them looking any worse because a benched transfer struggled elsewhere.

Maybe it's interesting for June :wink:
Actually, Etling looked to me like a pretty good prospect when he first took the field for the Boilers, but he appeared to regress. If he can thrive under Miles, it will be a surprise, but an interesting one.

Maybe PSU should have recruited him as a backup for Hack. Fits the bill beautifully.

Also, little discussion that one of their QBs (Anthony Jennings) was arrested on a felony charge of unauthorized entry of a dwelling and has been suspended indefinitely. That leaves So (and former tOSU target) Brandon Harris as the only QB who has seen a snap on their roster.

For all of the talent Miles has brought into Baton Rouge, it's striking how poorly he has recruited the QB position. Unless Harris takes an enormous leap from what little he showed last season, the QB position will once again be an albatross on their season.
