Sorry you find this so meaningless, but I think it will be fascinating to watch. If Etling wins the competition to be the 2016 LSU QB, what does that say about LSU's quarterback recruiting? Conversely if he finds himself buried in the depth chart, what does it mean about a guy who at one point was the best Purdue had to put on the field?
Purdue is laughably bad. I don't see any chance of them looking any worse because a benched transfer struggled elsewhere.

Maybe PSU should have recruited him as a backup for Hack. Fits the bill beautifully.Actually, Etling looked to me like a pretty good prospect when he first took the field for the Boilers, but he appeared to regress. If he can thrive under Miles, it will be a surprise, but an interesting one.
