Heat boards are arriving to the acceptance stage this morning. They are essentially mimicking this very thread for exactly four years ago. This seems to be the overriding sentiment:

I'm just going to post my thoughts on Lebron if he comes back to Cleveland. I know nobody cares.

I want him to come back.. but he still is a big reason why I hate the NBA so I don't see myself giving a shit about the league even if he comes back. The superteam thing is so fucking boring and fake to me. The only difference this time is that a team in Cleveland will possibly have a superteam. It's still dumb. But I hope he comes back and they win 4 titles. I'd watch the championship games... but that's probably it. Too much hockey to watch to waste time on a league that's ran by 10 superstars.

I reserve the right to be a hypocrite and change my mind, but regardless of what happens I still see myself not watching the NBA and simply wishing the best for the Cavs from afar. I know it's different when it's your favorite team in the beneficial end of things, but the league will still be a joke.

Can you imagine being LeBron right now? Heck anything he says get thrown into ridiculous speculation lol. I'm sure it has to be half annoying and half entertaining to hold so much power in his hands. I were him I'd totally F with Heat fans for sure lol.

They don't care. It's not in Miami "fans" DNA to really care about sports. If he leaves, and it's still "if", they'll trash him for a few weeks then lose interest. Then the Heat will average about 5000 fans per game during the season...if that.
