I am just guessing here, but I bet he has some academic scholarships from looking at the ACT score. So this is a real steal. Kid had to have full football rides to other D1 schools looking at that video. He may be a hard worker and find himself getting PT in a couple of years.

I agre . His other D1 offers were probably MAC and he wanted to go the big boy route. More power to him. Welcome to the family

No division 1 offers. Only offer is from Davidson. Broken leg junior year turned off recruiters because of a sub-par season. Recruited as a linebacker sophomore year, played TE junior yr and had to switch from OLB to DE a week before the season started senior year due to injuries. Not yet preferred walk on. just a guaranteed roster spot.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't a "guaranteed roster spot" exactly what a preferred walk on is?
