After landing Grant, I think our LB class is comparable to hitting a Walk Off Grand Slam in the 7th Game of the World Series.

Hands down the Best LB class in the nation especially at a time of need for us.

Grant's talent is evident, but what I really like, is the experience he will bring the defense next year, the question will be how quick he picks up the defensive scheme.

With Hawk, Carpenter, and Schlegal leaving I was really dreading the LB situation but it looks so much better every day. I hope that Amos and O'Neil can step up and fill those holes well too.

I honestly feel as though picking up Grant might be the push we need for a preseason #1 (which is really important with the stupid BCS)...our only question is defense, and with a guy like this coming in, and signing the best LB class in the nation...our defense might not look that bad at all. We all know it's good...but when you sign such a strong defensive class, then that always helps with preseason rankings. Coleman, Gibson, Grant and more will all be in the mix, and that really looks good.

Personally I feel this was the biggest get for the Buckeyes since C. Wells verbaled last year.

I seriously doubt that in-coming recruting classes play much influence on who will be ranked pre-season #1. If a team needs to rely heavily on an in-coming recruiting class, they have absolutely no business being the #1 team in the country.
