LB Justin Hilliard (2020 B1G Champ Def POG)

I moved back to Cincy. Its in Indy this year, correct? I went to several Cathedral games last year, including the state final to see McLaurin play. Cathedral is very good for an IN team, but they get blown out when they play out of state. Justin should have a great game
Yep, in Indy this year. They definitely play some quality, tough football there. Might have to take the chance to see Hilliard play while he's in town.

I would guess this disappoints Wade more than the TE from Mo. that chose Bama.

If this doesn't go our way, would guess it disappoints Wade more than the TE from Mo. that chose Bama.

I wouldn't be disappointed....might just be making sure Ohio State is the right pick.

I meant if Justin committed to ND, Wade my be a bit disappointed, I know I would be.

If he committed to anyone else, it would be a colossal blow to this class for many reasons. However, I still like where we sit right now.

As would I.

I have been following recruiting from around 2004, and that makes about 10 years for me now. Not that this time is in any way a resume point or makes me an expert. One thing that seems to hold true over the course of my observations is that when a player starts making real connections with a school and then starts putting out those "feel good" vibes out to the school, media sites, and especially other uncommitted recruits -then it normally turns out to be good for the school in question. I have seen a few times when this happens and then they pick another school, but as a trend, it's normally a great thing to see. And I'm not talking about the kids who just gush positives after each visit but more of the small things that build up over time. To me this has been the trend with Hilliard. I'd take our odds if I were a betting man.
