LB Etienne Sabino (official thread)

In his last six years with North Carolina, Mack Brown was 54-17 (.761 winning percentage), with three 10-win seasons and six bowl appearances. There's no reason why Butch Davis couldn't do something similar, if given an adequate grace period to turn the Tarheel program around (say five years).
Add that with the current shape of the ACC, and I'd say it won't be much of a challenge for ol' Butchie. UNC should be able to be a top 25 team in the next 2 years.

This felt like a token offer from the start...despite his genuine interest in UNC and Coach Davis, I don't see Sabino going anywhere other than FSU or Miami. With Sweat and Zordich looking good, the possibility of Hale looking OSU's way, offers out to Filer and Wilson and a host of LBs in-state looking for offers (Beachum, Craig, Staples, Gardiner, etc.) I never got too excited about this offer.

I agree... I think it was one of the offers that you throw at the wall and see if anything sticks...
Not a bad idea to maintain a presence in the Dade Co. area though...
