So getting back to Johnson..... Does anyone know if the above test score and GPA are enough to get into OSU?

Don't know anything for sure, but the fact that he is being allowed to visit now as opposed to the end of January speaks volumes...

He wouldn't be alowed to visit if he wasn't.

I think Johnson is a definite position of need for a MIKE backer. Was Hoobler redshirted this year? Anyways I have always thought if Johnson has the grades, then he is a buckeye. I would say get the banana's warmed up as soon as we know he has the grades.

Unfortunetly, Hoobler will be a Junior.

Recent update says he has a 2.5 GPA with a score of 1350 on the new version of the SAT....its sounding positive for Ohio State at this point. Historically, before a visit was made, the prospect would be looked at by OSU admissions. Everyone can draw their own conclusions.

Hoobler played a little, but was hurt very early, which is why I thought he received a medical RS (similar to Mike D'Andrea receiving a medical for last year). I don't want to hijack the thread, but are you sure that he'll actually be a JR eligibilty-wise next year?
