My dude needs a better chin strap but he's an animal.
Kind of reminds me of a smaller AJ Hawk. Reads and reacts brilliantly, no thinking to his game.

Legend
I’d be curious to see an all 22 of how he looks in pass coverage.
At the line of scrimmage and against the run, he has a standout burst out his stance and his closing speed looks above average (I’d be curious if any of the more film-based or coach types would agree on here? You know who you are)
I hate to say it but ultimately it looks like Pierce might slowly become the odd man out if he’s not already. Pettijohn, Alford and CA all look to be a clear above him holistically.

Just a schlub from Y-town
He has become essential in stopping the opposing team's run game. He has been a great addition to this team this season.

Too soon old, too late smart
Had a stupid thought, if NCAA is allowing guys who are IN the nfl to come back, and the 5 year to play program is retro-active, maybe JL (who I believe left a year early), could conceivably come back for a swan song year? Maybe he and Beanie (who still looks like he could go for a buck fifty), could add some oompf to the O.
