First: Out of state tuition when you were at the school was aproximately 9K per year (it's currently about 20K a year).

I was a resident by the time they put me on scholarhship (my senior yr). So I was saving them money! I "proved" residency my sophmore year by becoming a registered voter in Ohio and establishing a "permanent" addresss for more than a year.
