That's terrible. SCTV was one of my favorite shows growing up.

When 1 shines we all shine. 71 is way too young.![]()
I'll add on A Mighty Wind and Waiting for Guffman. In the same mickumentary vein as Best in Show with a lot of overlapping actors.
I drug my wife to see Waiting For Guffman and she became a huge fan of the Christopher Guest movies.![]()

I listened to most of the Tigers games on a transistor radio back in ‘68.
I got Denny McLain’s autograph (which represents 50% of the autographs I ever solicited in my life), that was the year Denny won 31 games! Crazy year for pitchers, the WS opponent Cardinais had Bob Gibson, whose ERA for the regular season was 1.12, and that’s not a typo. After that season they lowered the mound.
But Lolich got in done in the WS, RIP, Mickey.
p.s. - for those wondering, the only other autograph I ever got was from a Miss Universe.
It was Mickey LolichGolfing buddy played in Tiger's farm system, went to spring training every year with the big team, but ultimately ended up in AA or AAA. Anyway, he was around when Mark (the Bird) Fidrych was around, and used to tell tales of how crazy he really was. PS, Bob Gibson used to scare me, just watching him pitch. Wouldn't have wanted to bat against the guy. And hats off to all the pitchers that pitched (and won) three games in the world series. Gibson was one, and believe McLain was another.
