Looking over Russell’s stats, the most curious one is this:

Was 1st team All-NBA 3 times, but won 5 regular season MVPs. So guys were voting Wilt on first team for his stats, but then realizing that Russ was the more valuable player due to the wins.

Stats are pretty but the intangibles that winners bring to the table doesn't show up in the box score. It's the will to win and aJordan had that too, Lebron doesn't.

We moved to California in 1974 and though my grand dad was a Reds fan we become Dodger fans and grew up watching those great teams of the 70's. If the game wasn't being televised you could be sure we had it playing on the radio. Vin Scully was part of my childhood.








Not all of these are Vin Scully, I threw in The Murph's 76 commercial just because they always played during Dodger games
