Kim Fowley, a Los Angeles punk/alt rock legend, died last night at age 75. He was the manager of The Runaways (Joan Jett's first band) and several other indie bands such as The Quick. During his 55-year long career in the music industry, he worked with artists as diverse as KISS, Frank Zappa, Warren Zevon, and Gene Vincent. Most recently he was a DJ on Little Steven's Underground Garage (Sirius/XM channel 21).

He was also a singer/songwriter. Here's a sample (under one of his aliases, Jimmy Jukebox):
