Last movie you saw?

Saw whatever the most recent Jurassic movie. It was fine. I went mostly to spend time with one of my kids who wanted to see it, so that is better than the movie.

Action scenes were decent. The parts that were supposed to be funny did not land. The bonus family was underutilized. But the theater was packed so I am sure the studio will be happy.

I'm an old man though. It was 32 years since the original was released and I recall going to see that on a date.

Brings back memories. North side of Chicago in the late 80s. Packed dollar theater full of the unwashed poor like my friends and me, three separate clots of gangbangers tryna act like they own the place, plus the Carter Family Reunion rolling in 30 minutes after the movie starts with gallon jugs of purple drank and party trays. You might catch 20% of the dialogue.

Reminds me of Howard Stern talking about going to the movies as a kid.

I watched "Superman" twice since it opened Thursday (because "I party like a rockstar").

Young daughter keeps asking:

Why does Superman need to eat breakfast (in reference to Clark eating breakfast on the Kent farm)?

I thought I read the adoption inquiries into "Terrier/Schnauzer Mixes" went up like 500 percent since the movie opened.
