I'm about 9 years late on this one, but watched "The Martian" on Max tonight. OUTSTANDING movie. 9/10, highly recommend if you haven't seen it and you're looking for a good flick to veg out for a little over 2 hours

Big fan. Also a nice read if you like books.

Believe one of Damon's best roles. Have the book, but purchased after movie came out, and for whatever reason, haven't read it, as might spoil the movie for me. (Go on U-tube about The Wheel of Time comparison!). Was impressed with Matt's know-how, planning ability, and how to use what he had around him. Probably seems petty, but 'building' dirt from Martian dust and human feces to grow food (potatoes) was/is mind-boggling. Always wondered about diet deficiencies though, but that's nit-picking. Just a general overall 'feel good' movie.
