Believe one of Damon's best roles. Have the book, but purchased after movie came out, and for whatever reason, haven't read it, as might spoil the movie for me. (Go on U-tube about The Wheel of Time comparison!). Was impressed with Matt's know-how, planning ability, and how to use what he had around him. Probably seems petty, but 'building' dirt from Martian dust and human feces to grow food (potatoes) was/is mind-boggling. Always wondered about diet deficiencies though, but that's nit-picking. Just a general overall 'feel good' movie.

Saw Thunderbolts over the weekend. Good flick. Also nice to see Marvel doing something a bit different with one of their films.

I am looking forward to Fantastic Four. This next reboot of Superman may be worth borrowing the DVD from the library.

Had my first ScreenX experience watching "F1" on opening night (270 degree, panoramic view).

Kind of disorienting (there are three projectors and they project onto what used to be the wall). Very immersive action sequences (only time the panoramic view is used is during action sequences).

A racing movie like "F1", ScreenX is probably worth it (although it was just $2 extra for us per ticket). Any other action movie (like a Marvel or whatever) it may not be needed.

Taped the last half of John Wick #4, and lost count of the bodies about six minutes in. Ended the only way it possibly could, with Wick's tombstone, next to his wife. Wonder if Hollywood will resurrect him at some point, a la Bobby Ewing in Dallas. Also taped part of the Indiana Jones latest, cannot find on Netflix. Seems almost incestuous with and old Harrison Ford, and a nubile nymphet of a female working alongside him. Haven't been to a movie theater since before Covid.
