All right people, we got 2 days 'till game time, let's all gather 'round. I'm not much for giving inspirational addresses, but I'd just like to point out that every newspaper in the country has picked us to finish last. The local press seems to think that we'd save everyone the time and trouble if we just went out and shot ourselves. Me, I'm for wasting sportswriters' time. So I figured we ought to hang around for a while and see if we can give 'em all a nice big shitburger to eat!

:lol: I love that movie. My wife and I always do the Major League/Bull Durham/Field of Dreams/League of Their Own/Eight Men Out set during March leading into baseball season.

Same here (well not all of them but definitely Major League and usually Bull Durham/League of their Own)

Me and some friends are going Friday for opening day against the Sox. The beers will be flowing EARLY and it's a 3:05 game!

I had my doubts going in (Tim Robbins is a red flag for 'political agenda') but ended up enjoying the movie quite a bit. Micheal Pena absolutely nailed his role and reminded me exactly of some guys I've known on active duty.

I saw it in the theater but picked it up and watched it again yesterday. Christian Bale might just be the best actor since Daniel Day Lewis...and Amy Adams finally breaks out of the sweet girl roles.

Went and saw Your Highness tonight. If you think the very premise of people dropping F-bombs in a fantasy period piece is funny, this is right up your alley. It's been critically panned and indeed is very stupid. Yet, since I'm a dork that loves sophmoric potty humor and grew up playing Dungeons & Dragons, I thought it was hysterical.

Besides. Seeing Natalie Portman in a thong was worth $8.
