Last movie you saw?

Disturbia was on TNT last night so I watched it. I'm one who as long as it's entertaining at all, I'll enjoy it. I thought it was good regardless, plus I grew up watching Shia LeBouf and I loved him in Even Stevens.

Thought, indie film, might be interesting. Rented it, saw it.

Wanted about 2 hours of my life back.

Largely because I got the telegraphed ending about 10-15 minutes in - spent the rest of the time hoping I was wrong.

Memo to self - never bet against self.

I'm going to recommend Diabolique, or the original Les Diaboliques. I saw the 1996 version at the movies, and didn't comprehend the ending until I stood up to leave.

Only the Sixth Sense has gotten me that late since. Then again, Seven got me too. So basically, I can only call the ending if I think the movie is shit and watch it in MST3K mode. If I like it, I'm a sucker.

Kind of like the Village was. I was so pissed at the end of that movie when it went exactly like I thought it would 4 minutes in I almost peed on the screen on the way out of the theater.

Pirates of the Caribbean 2: Dead Man's Chest.

Love these movies on Blu-Ray and surround. Can't wait to see the whirlpool battle scene in the 3rd one. The new TV (47" LG LED) is nice.

Well my wife really liked the Sixth Sense, and that was back when he had only made 1 or 2 bad films, so we took a chance. I certainly wouldn't do it now, though I might rent Devil.

Yeah Goodfellas has been on several times recently, they're definitely going with good films of late. IFC has had some good ones as well.

I think AMC is also looking to hype their new series The Killing...looks interesting, I might check it out.

Yeah they are both awesome and I get both in HD. I like Sundance and FLIX a lot too, but they are only standard def. TCM has a lot of the good older movies as well.

Solid movie. I wish I knew more about the guy. It will be interesting to see some of the features and bonus material that will be added when it comes out on DVD/BluRay.
