GOAT movie, not even my opinion. I think I'll watch Aliens next.

Watched the new Soprano off shoot movie... good movie IMO and I look forward to what James Gandolfinis' kid does because he's so much like his dad.

Pretty typical 60s-90s mobster movie but overall it was one of the better ones.

Figured I'd watch it since we are playing Soprano University tomorrow.

The Golden Child - this was my favorite movie in 6th grade, but my own 6th grader now was not impressed by the production quality and "special effects" nor the freaking amazing 80s score with its constant synthesizers and guitar riffs. Eddie Murphy is so good in this movie though, and I quote a bunch of his lines to this day.

Bradbury. Ray Bradbury.

Basically a perfect film adaptation of the book. Jason Robards as the old librarian dad is one of my favorite movie characters, and it’s one of Jonathan Pryce’s most iconic roles too. Classic Bradburian good vs evil, light vs dark stuff here.

Watched It: Part 2. I thought Part 1 was solid.

Part 2 was a joke. It reminded me why I don't watch horror movies very often - because they are bad. Not scary at all, and at times it felt more like a satire of horror movies than an actual horror movie (Paul Bunyan chasing Bill Hader was a true highlight ). At least it had Jessica Chastain.

I watched Godzilla: King of the Monsters last night to make up for It: Chapter Bullshit. Godzilla was a lot of fun. Turned my brain off for a couple hours and watched some badass CGI monsters destroy stuff.

Might watch this one tonight:

Dune.

Visually stunning, great score, subdued but with just enough action. Fans of the novel should walk away much more satisfied than after the David Lynch atrocity (and I love most of what Lynch has done otherwise). Hope the sequel gets greenlit because this could be an epic franchise.
