The VVitch: I really liked it, but I agree with the somewhat cynical review I saw that said "90% of the people in the theater with you will be too stupid to understand it." For a history buff like me, their showing of the tremendous isolation combined with abject fear of God and sin in Puritan New England was beautifully, beautifully done. The slow burn wasn't a boring slow burn because of it. The accents were a little hard to understand, but the acting was really good. And the supernatural parts were almost incidental to a story that was basically about dread. Excellent. 4/5

I really liked this movie too, but its hard for me to tell others to watch it because the accents are rough. Plus it may not be everyone's cup of tea.

Classic. Abbott & Costello + The Andrews Sisters = what's not to love?

I am currently watching My Counsin Vinny for a break from my more typical fair. It holds up very well with age and I forgot most of it.

We watched a few snippets of it in school in Evidence. I love how New Yorkers think it is making fun of everyone not from New York, when the movie is clearly making fun of everyone (and redeeming them). That is what makes it good, everyone watching it can laugh at someone. This is even better from an Ohio perspective, where one gets to laugh at everyone.

The Hateful Eight. I thought Django was Tarantino's best along with Pulp Fiction. A lot of people are hating on this one but I thought it was at least level with Inglorious Bastards and better than Kill Bill. Classic Tarantino with scenes that could only come from his mind.

just watched it.. and I was thinking.. this is Pulp-Fictionish

Of all the classics, I'm ashamed to admit this was my 1st time seeing it despite being well aware of its merit. *Ensue BP shaming*

If I was at my desk and saw a considerably older guy walk into my gym looking like this, I'd ask him wear his needles are.

However, he's a professional actor whom apparently has been training quite a while. It's certainly not out of the realm of possibility that he 'has' to have been using AAS.
