went and saw 28 weeks later. i never saw the first movie but i dont think it really matters because the beginning fills it in pretty well as far as just knowing the main matter of the plot. movie was pretty intense. it is a different style of film. makes me wonder when the next one will be out. not to mention the people escaping the subway scene and the helicopter scene were crazy. depends if it is your style of flick but i liked it.

Dancer in the Dark. Poor Selma.

Ooof. Feels like being kicked in the crotch. Can't imagine watching it ever again.

Watched Mirrormask over the weekend. Strange and stylized collaboration between Neil Gaiman and the Henson Studios. If Sin City and Labyrinth ever hooked up and gave birth to a bastard child, it would be a lot like Mirrormask.

Then we watched Labyrinth. Jennifer Connelly for me, David Bowie and tons of cool puppets for the missus. Win-win movie for us. :tongue2:

Just caught "Hustle and Flow" on Saturday, hadn't seen it before. Good flick, gritty, funny, not completely believable but entertaining.

Also rewatched "Suburbia."

Also watched, for the first time "The Color Purple." Long, tense, slow but intriguing too. Definitely a "chick flick", every male in it is pretty reprehensible, either mean and abusive or shallow. I don't understand why Whoopi Goldberg received a "Supporting Actress" award when the story is pretty much all about her character.....
