I watched this movie on an Indie station last night called "Slash". Worst. Movie. Ever. The premise was bad enough...a rock band getting stranded on a farm, where some hilljack scarecrow started killing them with an axe. But the all time best was the ending, where they "sang" this song...a Metallica-ized version of "Old MacDonald had a farm". I shit you not, they sang this while the (admittedly hot) female lead gyrated around on stage. Note to filmmakers: No matter how hot and slutty the chick looks, "Eee aye ee aye ooohhh" is not meant to be a heavy metal song. JFC :slappy:

insomnia got a hold of me the other night. I turned it into a comedy night. Couples Retreat and Mr. Deeds back to back. Funny night

I watched the movie "Insomnia" featuring Robin Williams and Al Pacino the other day, really good flick.

The Town...seemed to borrow heavily from other films but was pretty solid on its own.

Saw it a while back; pretty good. Watched it at the dollar theatre so that was even better for me

Just rewatched I Am Legend for the third time, still really like it. IDK how great the movie is to others, but I always get caught up in "how would I attempt to survive if" scenarios which are fresh each viewing.

Also saw "The Exam" which is a British pseudo cultural experiment pitting 8 interviewees in a unique job exam for a top tier company. Pretty interesting watch.

'The Social Network'...fantastic movie. From the acting, to the script, to Trent Reznor's killer score...damn near flawless. Only complaint I could possibly find is that I thought it ended a bit abruptly, but that's just nitpicking. Call it 9.5/10
