glad i'm not the only one. I've had people tell me it's the funniest movie they'd ever seen, and i'm like "really? that's great. Can you finish pumping my gas now please."

"Just like John Wilkes Booth, our prices are gonna sneak up from behind and blow your fucking brains out"

The rest of the movie was trash, but my god that line had me rolling.

edit: Nearly forgot, same scene.

"#1, full length back tatoo of the Hawaiian Punch Guy - 10% fruit juice Motherfuckers!!"

The wife and I also watched it via Netflix last weekend. Agree with everyone that the film only had a few moments that were worth watching. It's a shame, I was quite excited to actually see the movie in the streaming queue.

Watched Requiem for a Dream last night. Pure perfection. Of course I wanted to slit my wrists, drink hemlock, and hang myself afterwards (and not die, just so I could suck in some CO, light myself on fire and jump off a building all over again), but that movie was absolute genius. Ellen Burstyn is amazing.

This for streamed stuff only?

I'll tell you now - took the wifey last friday night (opening day/night) to see Resident Evil; 3D...

What a POS.

That's 2 hours of my life and $30 I'm not EVER getting back...
Don't even rent it...
Don't netflix it...
don't even torrent the garbage...

Seemed like 20 3D scenes, that they tried to build a story around.
Didn't work.

Half the shit was ripoffs of The Matrix scenes, like the fast-moving agents ducking bullets, the lobby machinegun scene, etc...

Total garbage.

As a fan of the game and story, I could have told you this. Once Apocalypse
was over, I said to myself "going to stretch the story into nothing". Which is what they did.

Trying to take an obviously horrible script (and actors) then make it appealing by tossing in 3D isn't just going to do it for me.

I didn't bother to see Extinction, I won't bother seeing Afterlife.

It has Ali Larter in it. It can't be that bad.

Watched "Frozen" earlier today. Damn, it was like Open Water meets Alive, only without the cannibalism.

Three skiers are left on a lift suspended like 50 feet in the air halfway up the mountain when the park shuts down and nobody realizes they are up there. Pretty intense couple of scenes. Didn't particularly like the ending. It left me wanting more and a little unsatisfied.

I'd still recommend it though.

Buckeneye, honestly, the others gave been OK, maybe even good...

Afterlife, was the biggest POS I've just about ever seen.
I told my wife that next time, she should just sew my eyelids open, and tie me in front of a marathon 24hr back-to-back-to-back run of Day the Earth Stood Still (Keanu Reeves version), which I THOUGHT was the worst I'd seen...

Afterlife was truly painful to watch...

WM: Ines Sainz couldn't have saved that POS :)
It was THAT BAD!

Picture The Matrix, with zombies, and 3D added in.
But without most of the good Matrix shit.
