Ils and Frontiere(s). Ils was really good, but was somewhat spoiled by the somewhat crappy Strangers movie I had already seen. Fronteire(s) was not too bad, definitely kept me entertained, but it fell short of the new French epic horror films (Inside, Martyrs).

Sherlock Holmes..... Steamy Pile of ****

They could have done so much good with this movie and they missed in all regards!

Just watched Sherlock Holmes also. I like some Guy Ritchie movies, but think it was an awful idea to have him direct this film. The wit, action and weirdness of Ritchie are appropriate for some films, but just seemed out of place for a famous literary figure (who can stand on his own merits) like Sherlock Holmes.

That having been said, I will watch the sequel if only to see Daniel Day Lewis as Moriarty.

Robert Downey Jr could have been perfect for this role in a much more serious and subdued version of the film, which as others have mentioned would have required a different director. I had also heard about a version in production with Sasha Baron Cohen and Will Ferrell as Holmes and Watson, and I'd rather have seen that one too.

was in Myrtle Beach on vacation and had a rainy day so I caught Knight and Day with Tom and Cameron. For a rainy evening movie it was all right. Pretty cheesy but also had some LOL moments. Probably should have went with A-Team or Grown Ups. But you know hindsight blah blah
