martyrs. this movie will mess you up. borderline torture porn... or maybe it leapt right over the border. i've read that fox is remaking the movie, which could be good. the motive of the torturers could have been fleshed out (pun intended) a bit more.

edit: as twisted as the movie was, i can't call it torture porn. unlike hostel, which i didn't finish, the torture scenes served a purpose beyond merely showing torture for its own sake.

Magic & Bird: A Courtship of Rivals... on HBO

Amazing documentary about these two great athletes. I am old enough to remember some of the basketball, but I did not know about most of the personal stuff and the social overtones. Everyone should check it out!

Where the Wild Things Are - 3/10 may be a little generous too

Saw VI - 3/10 I am a fan of the Saw movies too. Don't preach at me, entertain me.

Watching Zombieland tonight, hoping to redeem the movie industry a little after last nights implosion
