Not really. Thoroughly mediocre IMO.

I never saw it.. but based on the comments about it all being this, what a disappointment.
John Dillinger was cocky, flashy, charming, dashing, loud, bold ... in other words, everything that Johnny Depp isn't. Totally miscast, and the movie suffered greatly for it. The numerous historical inaccuracies also didn't help.

Totally agree. The book is one of the best books I have ever read...the movie was pretty bad.

Seen a few movies lately,

Avatar - A - Great movie....a must see in 3D IMAX

Book of Eli - C+ - Starts well enough, but the story completely loses the plot about midway, and is just downright silly by the end. If you want an alternative, The Road (with Vigo Mortensen) is a much much better post-apocalyptic movie.

Lovely Bones - D -Awful movie. Peter Jackson's worst film

Sherlock Holmes - B+ - Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law make for an awesome one-two punch in this action packed take on Sir Arthur Canon Doyle's iconic detective. I loved this movie.
