Terrible script recycling the worst of past Star Trek & Star Wars'isms....saved by a cast obviously having a shit load of fun.

"Away We Go" -- expectedly quirky movie that started out a little too quirky, and kind of uncomfortable/unpleasant, but turns to be a nice little flick about finding your way into adulthood or whatever. John Krasinski is likeable as always, he provides a bunch of funny moments.

Took the hell spawn to see Plant 51 today at The Movie Tavern at Mill Run...
We saw the same movie there the next day. We were in town for the week visiting family for the holidays and checked that place out. I had never been to a bar/movie theater before that showed current released. I thought it was decent for the most part. Our waitress was pretty good, but she clearly needed more help. We had to chase her down once or twice.

I particularly liked that the matinee we caught was only $5 a ticket. I can't find matinees that cheap near where we live, even going to the 11am shows.

A little tip to anyone that goes there in the future, if you get the sampler platter with the 4 mini cheeseburgers, you'll find that it's really just 1 regular cheeseburger that's been cut into four pieces.

Anyway, the movie was pretty decent (about what I expected) and our kids had a nice team and their grandparents enjoyed themselves as well.

The Goods- Had to be the worst movie of all time, I tapped out after about 45 minutes.

Defiance- Watched that last night. Not a bad movie at all, more entertaining than I thought it would be.
