Ok, I was worried that you were showing inappropriate things to your kids.

Tropic Thunder and Burn After Reading are my two favorite comedies this year, fyi. The beginning of Tropic Thunder might be the funniest opening, ever. The part with Toby MaGuire = :slappy::slappy::slappy:

They are so many hilarious line in Tropic Thunder... Robert Downey Jr was the best part of the movie..... and my wife wants a chair like the one George Clooney was building in Burn After Reading.... I just don't think I can do it for $100 like he did.

Downey deserves every award he can get for Tropic Thunder. He was ridiculous in it.

3:10 to Yuma (2007)

Fantastic. Only bad thing about it was that it ended.

I almost watched the Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford instead of 3:10 to Yuma, but decided to go with the one that I hadn't seen yet.

This picture makes me want to watch The Assassination of Jesse James again.. felt like sharing it. The cinematography in Jesse James is some of the best you'll see.

Everyone go see Gran Turino. Amazing, best movie I have seen in theatres in the last 5 years.

P.S. there is a lot of racist slurs and comments but IMO it is not offensive as it is not hate as much as just what he calls people. C.E. is the best actor past 70 that I can think of right now. Most bad ass charcter ever.

Annual event where competing directors, producers & cast members of films nominated for 'Best Foreign Language' at the Golden Globes make their pitch to academy voters & invited guests for their nominating votes in the same category. First time though that the event was held with all the films together in one venue.
I do hope that some of you take the opportunity to see at least some of these, they are all very worthwhile, imo, in their own way. Thanks.
