I didn't like the movie. The ending is all sorts of wrong. The book is ten billion times better.

Haven't read the book, but I agree about the ending.. I did like the rest of the movie though.

I was actually pretty disappointed in both after all the hype. Not just the hype for the most recent movie version of the tale but all versions of it. After I read the short story I just didn't get the attraction. It felt ham-handed and I enjoyed his other work far better.
