Watched both Little Miss Sunshine and Baby Mama today.

Little Miss Sunshine is one of my favorite movies, and Baby Mama was average. I like both Tina Fey and Greg Kinnear, though, so that helped. The beginning of Baby Mama was SLOW.

'There Will Be Blood'...didn't notice in theaters how much DDL sounds like Sean Connery.

Still don't get the whole "Milkshake" thing that came of this.

I'm sad that the milkshake thing is more popular than the movie. It's such a fantastic movie. Someone said that to me today, then asked me who started it. :(

Miniature horses, also!

An interesting movie for sure! Makes you wonder if the writers were drinking Sterno? "Boss, I have these 3 scripts and I don't know how to finish them?"

The idea was originally floated around by Willis O'Brien (the man who did King Kong and the father of stop motion) in the 40's. The grand canyon was originally going to be where they found the lost world and the allosaur fought three lions rather than an elephant. Harryhausen finally got to do it as a tribute to his mentor.

I'm not usually big on remakes but it's a film that could be a lot of fun if redone today.

Yeah, but it requires an attention span longer than that of a gnat to really appreciate it...that eliminates 3/4 of the American movie-going public. Hell, there's no dialogue for the first 20 minutes of the film.

Yeah, you have a very good point. But it's still disappointing. :tongue2:
